I grew up down the street from The Conrad Mansion in Kalispell, Montana. I used to spend hours walking those hallways, exploring all the rooms, and admiring both the Victorian architecture and furniture. Later, while in college, I took my love of Victorian living a step further by volunteering as a docent at Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria, BC.
My love of Victorian, especially Victorian Gothic furnishings, has never waned. My dream living room involves brick, hard wood, anatomy models, dark green velvet, and loads of dusty, vintage furs. Unfortunately, my boyfriends dust allergies don’t exactly allow for that. Oh well, a girl can dream, can’t she?
