Must Read: Women, Work, and the Art of Savoir Faire by Marielle Guiliano

There is something really great about being a strong business woman. As I am getting older, more mature, and beginning to start a legitimate career, I feel as though I am in a whole new world where I am completely clueless.

So when I saw Marielle Guiliano’s book, Women, Work & The Art of Savoir Faire, I knew I couldn’t resist picking up another book on the impeccable perfection that all french women seem to exude. I loved the basic tips on what to do and not to do in business, as well as some of the less common ideas (ahem, firing your boss, yes please).

Guiliano’s experience in business is admirable, and the fact that she worked for Veuve Clicquot makes it all the more glamorous. I love reading inspiring works that cause me to wake up on a Monday morning with a spring in my step, a smile on my face and a willingness to put in a little bit more effort.

As for the being french thing….well, I may be stuck being an American for now, but I can always hope that my chicness will translate!
