Before you get too excited, these are not like Momofuku Milk Bar’s birthday cake truffles. Maybe it’s the fact that there is a Momofuku four blocks from my apartment, but I am far too big of a snob to pretend like they are. But they are still pretty dang good. I used this recipe, because it was quick, easy and I had most of the supplies already at home. My only complaint is that they get a bit too soft if you leave them out for too long, but they are still super delicious.
Although now I’m just determined to keep trying them until I find a Momofuku replacement, because walking those four blocks in the cold is such a pain. 🙂
